High up in the leaning spire, towering shelves groan under the weight of ancient grimoires, scrolls stuffed in any empty space you can find. You sit by the solitary window, poring over a manuscript from ages past. Your tea, once again, sits forgotten beside you, its steam mingling with the slightly damp and earthy scent of cellar-grown mushrooms. Only dimly aware of the days passing you by, the secrets of the world are hidden here, somewhere within these books, and you mean to tug at the thread until they're all unraveled.

TENDING THE FLAME
- —Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn for a clean, even flame.
- —On the first lighting, let the wax pool reach the edges of the vessel — usually 2 to 3 hours.
- —Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time to protect the vessel and keep the scent balanced.
- —Keep the candle away from drafts, children, pets, and anything that can catch fire.
- —Never leave a burning candle unattended; extinguish fully before leaving the room.
- —Stop burning when about 1/2" of wax remains to avoid overheating the vessel.
