Faint laughter drifts towards you from across the river - in the distance, under the golden light of the setting sun, you can see rows of trees and vines laden with fresh fruits. Jumping over the stream, you make your way to the sun-warmed orchard, laughter and music filling the air around you as the smell of fresh plums and cider envelop you. Peering through the orchard, you see a oak table with a harvest feast laid upon it - tureens of warm soup, baskets of bread, pitchers of cider, and plates piled high with black plums and bright green pears. TENDING THE FLAME
- —Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn for a clean, even flame.
- —On the first lighting, let the wax pool reach the edges of the vessel — usually 2 to 3 hours.
- —Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time to protect the vessel and keep the scent balanced.
- —Keep the candle away from drafts, children, pets, and anything that can catch fire.
- —Never leave a burning candle unattended; extinguish fully before leaving the room.
- —Stop burning when about 1/2" of wax remains to avoid overheating the vessel.
